Gabriel Klempar who is relishing his Northumberland call up.
Goal machine Gabriel Klempar did what he does best celebrating his call up to the Northumberland Under 16s squad with a goal on his debut.
The striker half-volleyed in from a corner against Cleveland in his first taste of elite level football.
Despite going down to a 2-1 defeat, Gabriel is full of confidence for the side’s next fixtures which see the Northumberland boys tackle the cream of young football talent from North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and Cumbria.
The 15-year-old centre-forward’s goal scoring exploits have caught the eye of scouts from professional teams and he’s set his sights on a pro career.
“I felt comfortable playing for Northumberland but I could tell it was definitely at a higher level than I’ve played before,” said Gabriel.
“I want to be a professional player. It made me feel fantastic to play for Northumberland. I feel like I can score goals for them.”
