It was lovely to have so many parents join us for our visit to Thornley Woods. The children enjoyed walking through the woods, collecting leaves and exploring the sculptures carved into the trees. Our visit to the woods was an introduction to our theme Autumn and the Woods. The children talked about the different coloured leaves they found and the animals they might find in the woods.

Even our youngest children enjoyed the mile long walk, with a little rest half way.

On our way back we found a ‘lost bear’ and have adopted him. What should we call him…?

It is so wonderful having our parents support their children in their learning. We couldn’t give our children these experiences without you. Thank you!
