Hall of Fame

Many of our students have gone on to do great things after leaving the Academy; whether this is progressing into further study, completing an apprenticeship or gaining employment. We are very proud of the accomplishments of so many of our ex-students; here are just a few examples…..

Radafina Nedyalkova - Radafina is a Teaching Support Assistant in English as an Additional Language in Excelsior Academy and is applying to gain qualified teacher status in academic year 2015/16.
Mark McCoy - After completing his sixth form studies here at Excelsior Academy Mark now enjoying an apprenticeship in catering here at Excelsior Academy to enable him to become a chef.
Stacey Gardner - After completing her sixth form studies here at Excelsior Academy Stacey who is an exceptionally talented sports woman is now completing a one year apprenticeship in the PE subject area within Excelsior Academy. Following this she hopes to work for Camp America and apply to University to eventually become a qualified PE Teacher.
Arrfa Ali - The very talented and enterprising young woman Arrfa left the college in 2014 and has gone on to study a Business Management at Newcastle University. Throughout her time at the Academy Arrfa was also able to operate a successful business venture which she aims to continue after university.
Malak Hussein - Malak (who was Head Girl in 2014/15) is pursuing her dream to become an architect and is studying for a BA Hons in Architecture at Northumbria University.
Lee Dearden - Lee, who throughout his time at Excelsior demonstrated a flair for IT and Computer Science is now studying Computer Science at Sunderland University.
Gold star standard reward for retail students - Excelsior College students struck gold at a ceremony celebrating their dedication in a top programme learning the skills and determination needed for a career in the retail industry. Fammi gains higher level apprenticeship at Virgin Money - Fammi Khanom has gained a higher level apprenticeship in IT and digital solutions at Virgin Money. Out of 300 applicants in the UK, Fammi and nine other individuals successfully passed and secured a position at Virgin Money in Gosforth.
